Last Thursday, May 29, we had the honor of having a guest at our facility to "Community Centre", Valerio Pardi. Valerio is one of the best astrophotographers in circulation. Here a brief presentation: "Valerio Pardi was born in Melzo (MI) in 1974 and approaching the world of photography since childhood in the footsteps of his father. After some interesting placements in national photographic competitions, he began activity 'as a journalist and photographer (which continues today) in 1998 working with various national publications specialist. In addition to these activities' goes for music concert, performing with chamber ensembles and orchestras in major opera houses of Italy and Europe. The passion for astronomy blooms in 12 years, coinciding with the passage of Halley's Comet and the arrival of the first telescope donated by the father. In the following years the interest in the sky moves more and more 'powerfully towards the photo, so combining' the two passions, and without ever leaving the tool preferred shooting: the camera, whether film or digital. "
The evening was very pleasant and Valerio told us his career as an amateur, accompagnado his story with magnificent photos of heaven he made.
I hope to have him back soon host our association!
