Anna has decided for the first time in its history of "open" to contemporary art, promoting a prize that would involve contemporary artists from around the world. The winner, selected by a jury of art critics and representatives of the company, would have seen two of his works on the label of two new wines of Tenuta S. Anna.
Over 800 works from around the world have paid tribute to the initiative, helping to settle the link between wine and art. An exciting happened for the first edition of an Art Prize!
The winning artist will be announced at the awarding of the Prize Arte Laguna, on March 6, at the Tese Arsenale di Venezia, and to discover the wines that will host the two works, the appointment is - inevitably - to Vinitaly 2010.
